Self-care is the best care, but have you heard of these 3 tips to make yourself feel even better?

GET SOME SLEEP!

Rest is the most important thing you can do to take care of yourself! When you aren't sleeping properly, it can cause moodiness and irritation.


Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night and try to stick to a consistent sleeping schedule.


We know that life gets busy and it can be hard to get sleep when all you can think about is everything you have yet to do.


But sleep is not just physical rest it is also mental, you can't operate at your best if you are drained completely.


Having trouble sleeping?

Try to drink some chamomile tea, or listen to soft music. Many people even found disconnecting from electronics 30 minutes before bed has improved their quality of sleep as well.

Connect with Others

You can make time to connect with family and friends outside of the everyday roles you share with one another.


Go out for drinks or have a cozy night in.

Set aside 10-15 minutes to pause and take a break from whatever you’re doing.

Take a few deep breaths, stretch, or meditate. This reminds you to be present and grounded in your body.
